Harry Gifford (born 1884 in Kirkby-in-Furness, England) was an English professional rugby league footballer of the 1900s, '10s and '20s who at representative level played for Great Britain, England, and Lancashire, and at club level for Barrow, playing at Fullback, or Centre, i.e. number 1, or, 3 or 4, and latterly in the Forwards, e.g. Prop, Hooker, Second-row or Loose forward/Lock, in the era of contested scrums.
Harry Gifford won caps for England while at Barrow in 1908 against Wales, in 1909 against Australia (3 matches), and won caps for Great Britain while at Barrow in 1908-9 against Australia (2 matches).[1]
